The second album from the Atlanta GA-based Metal project Ocean Skies. This album was written, recorded, and mixed between September of 2020 and January of 2021 with some extra touches added in June of '21. This record has it all, djenty downtuned prog riffs, saccharine alt-rock ballads, and jazzy saxophone solos. Your purchase of Home comes with 6 bonus tracks (some instrumental demos some not) and an exclusive album audio commentary.

This album represents a definite shift in my writing process away from the way I had written the previous Ocean Skies album - Blue City. Where Blue City came about very quickly with all of the songs popping into my mind in the space of a month and a half, Home came as a result of me writing about 20 or so songs and then deciding which ones I liked most. Some of these songs ended up on the Self-Titled Ocean Skies EP (June 2021), and some can be found in unfinished form as bonus tracks here.

Special thanks to Matt, Doug, Henry, and Jay for listening to various songs from this record countless times and enduring my weird 2 AM manic episodes where I try to explain why a song about my dreams is so deep, To Swinds and SirRaven from the Devin Townsend Discord Server for hanging out and contributing to my continued amusement, and lastly to Chris, Casey, and Nick for their continued moral support and late-night hangs in the kitchen that undoubtedly contributed to some of the songs on this record.
